‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma’ actor Shailesh Lodha’s father Shyam Singh Lodha passed away in Jodhpur. The actor shared the news of his father’s demise with an emotional post on Instagram.

Through the post, the actor reflected on his deep bond with his father and the significant impact his father had on his life. According to reports, Shyam was ill for the past one and a half months and despite the family’s efforts, he succumbed to his illness.

Halesh shared a picture with her father and wrote, “All I am is your shadow. Today, when the sun lit up the world, darkness descended upon my life. Papa has left us.”

He shared his grief and emptiness, admitting that words cannot fully express his pain. With a heavy heart, Shailesh asked his father to call him “Bablu” one last time, highlighting the deep bond and love they share.

He was cremated at Shivachi Gate crematorium in Jodhpur.

Shailesh is famous for playing the character of Taarak Mehta in the sitcom. However, due to the ongoing dispute with the makers, the actor had left the show. ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ has been running successfully for the last 15 years. Dilip Joshi plays the role of Jethalal in the show. Disha Vakani used to play the role of Daya earlier. However, she is no longer a part of the show.
