Tanishq Bagchi is copying the Sera track from one direction, Jubin Nautiyal
Tanishq Bagchi denied allegations of copying tunes from a direction and Zubin Nautiyal for ‘Siara’. The global chart of the original Hindi track challenges his image as only an entertainment musician.

The title track of ‘Siara’ is not only bringing pleasure to the audience with its raga and song, but also for the producers, as it climbs the global chart. The Tanishq Bagchi-Composed song currently sits on #4 on the top global chart of Spotify, and recently topped the viral top 50 list.
Amid the increasing praise, the team has also faced criticism for parts of the tune like one direction ‘Night Changes’ and Zubin Nautiyal’s ‘Hamnu Mere’. In a special chat with India today, Tanishq denied these claims.
“Whatever I do, people will have anything to say because they don’t have (nothing better to do). They keep looking for opportunities to keep me down. But after all, the song will go there wherever luck, and that is happening with Siara. If you can do this, it is really difficult to make a hit,” they shared.
Bagchi further shared, “All said and did, we did not steal anything. Equality is fine, this may happen, but it is not that we have done it on the purpose. Nahi ki nahi from Idhar (We chose nothing and did not add anything). We worked on the spirit of the song, and did it. This track is the magic of ‘Sera’. ,
The music composer discussed the global popularity of the song, sharing that it was something he had always dreamed of, he did not know that it would surpass his expectations.
“The best thing is that it is an original Hindi song, a pure Hindi song. There is no cooperation with foreign artists; everyone associated is developed in the house, so it is a big achievement for me. I have an intuition that it can go viral, but I have never expected a global chart.
He said that his team and even his family, including his mother and sister, are continuously following the chart and updating them about the status of the song.
Tanishq Bagchi further shared that he always sees someone who entertains someone who only entertains, and so ‘Siara’s success will also help me get out of that mold. “People come to me saying that I can only entertain, and I know I have to indulge in it. I can’t say everything, even though it only abuses me. But this song has proved that I can also give a original superhit. The issue is that these opportunities do not come every day. If I do not get songs like Siara, I do not need any need till then.”
‘Siara’ is currently running in theaters. Directed by Mohit Suri, the film stars Anit Padada and Ahan Pandey in the lead roles.
