Tamil director Suresh Sangaiah dies due to liver failure, stream of people paying tribute
Tamil director Suresh Sangaiah, best known for directing Oru Kidayin Karunai Manu, passed away on Friday, November 15, at a hospital in Chennai after suffering from liver failure.

Tamil director Suresh Sangaiah passed away at Chennai’s Rajiv Gandhi Hospital on Friday, November 15, after battling liver failure. The news of his demise was confirmed by cinematographer Saran, who worked with him in the Tamil film Oru Kidayin Karunai Manu. The filmmaker is survived by his wife and two children.
Director Halitha Shamim condoled the demise of her dear friend and took to social media platforms #OruKidayinKarunaiManu as a priceless film and now with a deeper significance.”

Her other works include Saathiya Sodhnai (2023), and an untitled film with actor Senthil.
