Tamil actor and director Manoj Bharathirja, son of veteran director Bharatirja, died on 25 March at his Chetpet Niwas in Chennai. He was 48 years old.

Tamil actor-director Manoj Bharathirja, son of veteran filmmaker and actor Bharatirja, died on 25 March at his residence in Chetpet, Chennai. Reports show that he had a heart surgery a few days ago. Around 6 pm on Tuesday, he died at his house. He was 48 years old. Manoj is alive by his wife Ashwati alias Nandan, and two daughters. Manoj Bharathirja was last seen in the prime video snakes and ladder.
