Tamannaah Bhatia is set to play an exciting role with Ajay Devgan and Sanjay Dutt in Jagan Shakti’s upcoming Jungle Adventure Ranger, as is specially manifested by Pinkvilla. While gearing up for the project, the actress recently shared her long-standing praise for Sridevi, expressing her dream of portraying veteran star on-screen.
Asked which icon she would like to portray on screen, Stri 2 actress immediately named Sridevi. In a conversation with IANS, she said, “This will be Sridevi, Mam. I think she was a super iconic, and she is someone whom I always praised.”
This is not the first time Tamannaah shared the desire to portray Sridevi on screen. In an earlier interview with Mumbai Mirror, she revealed that Sridevi was her inspiration since childhood and expressed her dream of bringing the story of a famous actress for life in a biopic.
On the work front, Tamannaah Bhatia is ready for an exciting new adventure work! Pinkvilla has especially learned that director Jagan Shakti has put him as a female leadership in the Ranger with Ajay Devgan and Sanjay Dutt.
The source said, “He is excited to start the journey with Ranger’s team. It is a well -designed role that has an arc of redemption. He has allocated wholesale dates to the team and has already started work for the film on individual fronts. Tamannaah has also reduced several script reading sessions with Jagan Shakti.”
On the individual front, Pinkvilla specifically stated that one of the most loved couples of Bollywood, Tamannaah Bhatia and Vijay Verma have participated together after more than two years. While their breakup has been confirmed, sources told us that the two plan to remain friends despite their different ways.
Meanwhile, Sridevi capted the audience with unforgettable roles in Sri Bharat, Nagina, Sadma, Chalbaaz, Chandni and Khuda witness, leaving an indelible mark. His last presence in Mom (2017) was a will for his permanent talent. In 2018, while attending a family wedding in Dubai, he died tragically. Initially attributed to cardiac arrest, further investigation revealed that as a sudden drowning, suddenly passing on February 24 caused a heartbreaking loss to cinema.
