Bollywood actress Taapsee Pannu, who is enjoying the success of her recent films Khel Khel Mein and then Haseen Dillruba, recently shared her thoughts on Instagram after her husband Mathias Bo posted pictures of him celebrating Independence Day with the Indian flag in Denmark. Taapsee jokingly revealed that she wants Mathias to “make a reel singing” a special song by the next Independence Day, proving that she is just like every other Indian.
Mathias celebrated Independence Day with the Indian delegation in Denmark, posing with the Indian flag. He looked dapper in traditional attire, wearing a kurta with white pants. Sharing the pictures, he captioned, “Celebrated 🇮🇳 Independence Day with the Indian delegation in Denmark. Welcome the new Ambassador Mr Manish Prabhat to Denmark, nice to meet you.”
Taapsee Pannu wrote in the comments section, “Now until next Independence Day, you have to make a reel singing our national anthem,” followed by a laughing emoji.
Earlier, Taapsee revealed on Raunak Rajani’s show Relationship Advice that her friends got worried when she spoke about her plans to meet Matthias Bo in Dubai. They expressed concern about the potential risks of meeting a man from another culture and even mocked her by saying that Matthias might ‘sell’ her to some sheikh. Taapsee jokingly recalled, “My friends were like, ‘You take care of yourself.’ They said, ‘Don’t let him sell you.’ I am not joking.”
She revealed that her friends were so worried that her best friend’s sister, who lives in Dubai, even gave her contact details for any eventuality. Taapsee joked that her friend’s sister really couldn’t stop anything if something went wrong.
The Khel Khel Mein actress is living a happy married life to Danish badminton player Mathias. After being together for more than a decade, the couple got married in March 2024.
Meanwhile, on the professional front, Taapsee is back with Haseen Dillruba, the sequel to Haseen Dillruba, releasing on Netflix on August 9, 2024. Directed by Jayapradha Desai, the film stars Vikrant Massey and Sunny Kaushal. She also worked with her Mission Mangal co-star Akshay Kumar in Khel Khel, which stars Vaani Kapoor, Fardeen Khan, Amy Virk, Aditya Seal and Pragya Jaiswal.
The film released in theatres on Independence Day. After this, she will be seen in ‘Woh Ladki Hai Kahan’.
