Sivakarthikeyan is currently promoting its upcoming film Madharai to release on 5 September 2025. After the action thriller hit the Big Screen, the actor expressed his love for his wife Arthi, insisting that she was standing by him before he became a successful actor.
Sivakartheikeyan expresses love for wife Arthuri in front of Madharasi release
Talking with Hindustan Times, Shivkarthikeyan recalled his early days as an actor and how his wife Arthi and college friends supported him during that phase.
In his words, SK said, “My college friends encouraged me to mimic and take the stage, saying that I would really do well. And my wife, Aarthi, she married me before coming to the cinema.”
“In cinema, people will always get talent to show it because it is a business. But without expecting anything, I did not even have a proper salary. He told me right and I thought I could take care of him. I should always be grateful to the economical,” the actor said.
For those unknown people, Shivkarthikeyan married his wife Arthuri in 2010. After entering the television industry as a host, SK made a name as an actor with films like 3, starring Dhanush and Marina (her debut as lead), which was released in 2012.
The couple recently celebrated their 15th wedding anniversary and are the parents of three children.

Shivaratikeyan is currently working on the film Parasakthi directed by Sudha Kongra. The period drama Flick is expected to be released in 2026, playing the role of Ravi Mohan, the main antagonist. In addition, Sreeleela and Atharvaa Murali are also portraying decisive characters.
Additionally, the actor is also asked to join films with directors Venkat Prabhu and Vinayak Chandrashekhar.
