Sushant Singh Rajput’s sister Shweta Singh Kirti remembered the late actor ahead of the sixth anniversary of his death with an emotional note on Instagram. On Saturday night, she shared an AI-generated image of him as Lord Ram, followed by a set of other pictures, and wrote about his memory, values and the impact he had on people.
In her post, Shweta said that her brother’s presence has not diminished with time. He wrote, “Six years. Time has passed, yet some souls grow older than time.” She said she now preferred to remember how he died rather than how he lived, and described him as a man marked by curiosity, compassion and dignity.

Shweta said she thinks of Sushant’s child-like curiosity and his deep fascination for life, the stars, the universe and the mysteries of the human mind. He also wrote that he treated people with respect, no matter who they were, and that he taught those around him that success meant nothing if it was not matched by compassion.
Reflecting on grief and memory, he said that love does not follow the laws of time, and even after a person is gone from sight, a beautiful soul continues to impact countless lives.
He said that whenever someone chooses kindness instead of anger, learning instead of ignorance, hope instead of despair, or love instead of judgment, a part of what his brother stood for lives on.
Calling it the biggest tribute to him, he wrote, “Be curious. Be kind. Keep learning. Dream fearlessly. And never let the world harden your heart.”
Shweta also said, “The deepest measure of a life is not how long it lasted, but how many hearts it awakened,” and added that by this measurement, he remains very much alive and continues to inspire millions.
Shweta’s reaction to AI images
The latest post comes days after Shweta reacted to AI-generated images imagining Sushant as Lord Ram, following the unveiling of the teaser of Nitish Tiwari’s Ramayan. At the time, she said that the scenes affected her deeply.
He wrote, “Ram ji is not just a person, a character, but the values he stands for are values we value – dignity, compassion, dignity, courage, truth and his pure love for Mother Sita.” He also said that Sushant as Ram felt soulful as he reflected the innocence, purity and nobility associated with the character, and added that “in today’s day and age no one can play the role of Ram as beautifully as Bhai would have played”.
Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his Mumbai apartment on June 14, 2020.
