Suriya’s Karuppu team thanks Vijay for permission to show 9 am show
Ahead of Karuppu’s release on May 14, the makers said its first-day-first show would start at 9 am and thanked Chief Minister Vijay for the permission.
Ahead of Karuppu’s Following the theatrical release on 14 May, the makers announced that the first day-first show of the film would begin at 9 am. Soon after, the team thanked Thalapathy Vijay for allowing the early morning screening.
Sharing the update on Instagram, production house, Dream Warrior Pictures posted a picture of Vijay sitting in the Chief Minister’s office while signing a document.

He wrote, “Special thanks to our Honorable Chief Minister Thiru. Joseph Vijay for giving special permission for the 9AM show of #Karuppu. #Karuppu – FDFS starts from 14th May at 9AM.”

One of the most awaited films of the year, Karuppu Suriya plays the lead role and is expected to feature the actor in a vintage mass-action avatar. Directed by RJ Balaji, the film also stars Trisha Krishnan and is produced by SR Prabhu and SR Prakash Babu under the banner of Dream Warrior Pictures.
