Suriya’s ‘Kanguva’ will hit the theatres on August 15. Ahead of its much-awaited release, the makers of the film revealed that Suriya will be seen in three different avatars in the film.

According to a source close to the production, “Suriya will be seen in three different looks in ‘Kanguva’. The actor has undergone a lot of transformation for his role in the film. Each character will have a different look, which has never been seen before and will add a different kind of curiosity to the story of the film.”

‘Kanguva’ is touted to be the biggest and most expensive film of this year. With an estimated budget of over Rs 350 crore, it claims to be bigger than ‘Pushpa’, ‘Singham’ and many other big films. Moreover, the film has been shot in seven different countries across different continents in India.

Earlier, producer KE Gnanavel Raja had confirmed in an interview with Galatta Plus that the film will release in two parts. He also added that the second part is yet to be shot and is likely to release in theatres sometime in January 2027 if things go as planned. The first part of ‘Kanguva’ is currently in the post-production stage.

Directed by Siruthai Siva, ‘Kanguva’ is one of the most awaited films currently under production. The film is said to have some period sequences from 1,500 years ago. Suriya will be seen alongside Bobby Deol in this film. Disha Patani, Natarajan Subramaniam, Jagapathi Babu, Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley, Kovai Sarala, Ananda and many other actors are included in this film.
