Suriya reunites with TJ Gnanavel as Hombale Films announces new project
Hombale Films announced their first collaboration with Suriya. Directed by TJ Gnanavel, the yet-untitled film stars Kayadu Lohar and has music by Sai Abhyankar.
Karuppu actor Suriya has officially joined hands with Hombale Films for an ambitious new project, marking his first collaboration with the production house. kgf, Kantara And Salaar. This announcement has been made after the success of Suriya’s latest film. Karuppu.
The yet-untitled film will reunite Suriya with director TJ Gnanavel, who previously directed the critically acclaimed film. Jai Bheem. Gyanvel, who recently directed Rajinikanth VettaiyaanWill lead the project, which the producers describe as a tough, gritty drama with commercial elements. Actor Kayadu Lohar has been cast for the lead female role.

Announcing the collaboration, Hombale Films paid tribute to Suriya’s career in a social media post, writing, “He made it. Frame by frame. Film by film. Fight by fight. Roles that bled truth. Characters that carried the weight of real life. A journey defined by courage, conviction and craft.”
The production house further added, “Three decades of truth on screen. Beyond that touched countless hearts. Now, the most fearless actor of his generation steps onto his grandest stage yet. Hombale Films proudly welcomes the one and only Suriya.”

The film has a strong technical team, with Sai Abhyankar composing the music, SR Kathir handling the cinematography and Philomin Raj serving as the editor. Produced by Vijay Kiragandur, the project was launched with a muhurat ceremony in Chennai on June 29 and is expected to begin production soon. The makers have not yet announced the title and release date of the film.
