Reema Kagati’s Superboy of Malegaon to release this date in theaters
Reema Kagti’s film Superboy of Malegaon will premiere in theaters worldwide on February 28, 2025 and later there will be stream on prime video. The film, inspired by real events, has been acclaimed in Major Film Festival.
Reema Kagti’s much awaited film, Superboy of Malegaon will be released in theaters on February 28, 2025. The dramatic premiere will be in the whole of India, USA, UK, UAE, Australia and New Zealand.
Directed by Reema Kagti and written by Varun Grover, the film is produced by Ritesh Sidhwani, Farhan Akhtar, Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagati under Excel Entertainment and Tiger Baby banner. It features a strong dress artists, including Adarsh Gaurav, Vineet Kumar Singh, Shashank Arora and Anuj Singh Duhan.
Superboys of Malegaon are inspired by real events and tells the story of Nasir Sheikh, an amateur filmmaker from Malegaon, a small town in Maharashtra. The film depicts how Nasir makes a film for the local community, with his group of friends, which offers a warm exploration of filmmaking, friendship and flexibility.
After receiving critical praise on major festivals like Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), 68th BFI London Film Festival, Palm Springs International Film Festival and Red Sea International Film Festival, the film is set to make its dramatic debut.
The film will also stream on prime video.
