Taking his official social media handle, Sivakarthikeyan shared himself a message received from Rajinikanth. Superstar praised the Amaran actor for his performance and highlighted how he has now emerged as an action hero.

About Madharsi
Madharasi is a Tamil language psychological action romantic thriller starring Shivakarthikeyan. The story follows Raghuram, an orphan that falls in love with Malthi.
However, when she breaks with her, Raghu gets distraught and tries to end her life. Meanwhile, NIA officer Premnath is looking for a citizen to lead a mission against a crime syndicate, without risking his team members.
After meeting and recruiting Raghu, when Malthi is unknowingly caught in syndicate plans, things are out of control. As anarchy increases, it turns out that Raghu is suffering from a mental state where he loses control over himself.
Apart from lead actors, the film also includes Monisha Vijay, Vikrant, Shabir Kallarkkal, Prem Kumar, Sanjay, Sachhana Namidas and many other lead roles.
Rajinikanth’s recent film
Rajinikanth was last seen in a lead role in the film Coolie. Action thriller directed by Lokesh Kangarraj discovered the story of The Daily Wage Worker, a former daily wage worker, who has been in shadow for 30 years.
After the passing of his close friend Rajasekhar, Dev attends the funeral, only to search for a connection to his friend’s connection with a dangerous crime syndicate. The film focuses on why Rajsekhar was involved with the gang and his death became the origin of the story.
Along with Rajinikanth, mainly, the film also has a cameo appearance by Nagarjuna Akini, Shruti Haasan, Saubin Shahir, Upendra and Aamir Khan. The film will start streaming on Amazon Prime Video on September 11, 2025.
