Actor Sunil Shetty has addressed a controversy over his recent comments about his daughter Athiya Shetty’s natural delivery choice. This comment criticized online for being insensitive and dismissed towards women who opt for Caesarean delivery.
Comments, originally made in an interview News18Athiya praised Athiya for choosing a natural delivery, saying with Shetty that he had shifted deeply from his strength during the child’s birth. “In a world where everyone wants to have a cesarean child, he chose not to do so and did a natural delivery. I remember how every nurse and pediatrician in the hospital said that it is incredible how he passed through the whole process. Athiya was very strong to do so.
