The makers of ‘Chori’ released the trailer of the film on Wednesday. Stating Abhishek Banerjee in the lead, it is a investigative crime thriller. The film is directed by Karan Tejpal, and promises a powerful and emotional story.

The trailer begins with a shocking scene at a lonely railway station, where a young mother, Jhampa (played by Mia Maller from ‘Beyond the Clouds’), rises her child to disappear. This painful moment stops a stressful and emotional journey, two brothers, Gautam (Abhishek Banerjee) and Raman (Shubam Vardhan), put everything at risk to find the child. Their discovery takes them into a dark and dangerous world where justice is difficult to find and existence is a conflict.

Built by Gaurav Dhingra under The Jungle Book Studio Banner, ‘Stolen’ is allegedly displayed for positive response in several film festivals.

Banerjee talked about the film in a press release released by his team. He asked “Chori” to make India’s answer to a raw, styled filmmaking film. “The actor said,” The day I heard the story, I knew that I wanted to live on the driver’s seat – like my character, Gautam. “
