Shares of Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd (5.23 per cent), Godrej Properties Ltd (3.9 per cent), Oberoi Realty Ltd (2.19 per cent), Sobha Ltd (1.0 per cent) and Suntech Realty Ltd. rose. (up 0.79 percent) ended the day as the top gainer in the pack.
On the other hand, Phoenix Mills Ltd (down 1.56 per cent) and Prestige Estate Projects Ltd (down 1.55 per cent) ended as the day’s top losers.
The Nifty Realty Index rose 0.66 percent to close at 1130.15.
The benchmark NSE Nifty50 index rose 63.75 points to close at 26004.15, while the BSE Sensex rose 255.83 points to 85169.87.
