Shares of Sanofi India Ltd (up 4.72 per cent), Gland Pharma Ltd (3.3 per cent), Laurus Labs Ltd (1.65 per cent), IPCA Laboratories Ltd (1.39 per cent) and Alchem Laboratories Ltd rose. (up 0.58 percent) ended the day as the top gainer in the pack.
On the other hand, JB Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals Ltd. (down 2.34 percent), Abbott India Ltd. (0.97 percent), Netco Pharma Ltd. (0.46 percent), Biocon Ltd. (down 0.42 percent) and Aurobindo Pharma Ltd. (down 0.3 percent) Ended up as the top loser of the day.
The Nifty Pharma index closed up 0.12 percent at 23014.3.
The benchmark NSE Nifty50 index rose 1.15 points to close at 25279.85, while the BSE Sensex closed down 4.4 points at 82555.44.
Out of 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 21 closed in the green and 29 in the red.
Shares of Vodafone Idea, Yes Bank, HFCL, Zomato and Jio Financial Services were among the most traded stocks on the NSE.
Tambo Global Ind., Laxmi Coatspin, Geojit Financial, Godrej Ind. And shares of Kytex Garments touched their fresh 52-week high in today’s trade, while Global Textiles, Mahalakshmi Fabric Mills, Revathi Equipment, Interrk Building and Rishabh Instruments touched their fresh 52-week highs. Low of the week.
