Superstar Shah Rukh Khan is fully prepared to make his much awaited start in the prestigious Met Gala this year. On Sunday, a video characteristic of actor and his manager Pooja Dadlani came out on several papers, holding the moment he reached New York and greeted fans at the airport.

In the clip shared online, King Khan is seen exiting the airport terminal with Pooja. Unlike the general frenzy at Indian airports, SRK was warmly congratulated by just a few fans in New York – one of whom shook hands with him, while the other hugged him. The actor still kept it stylish in a pair of white T-shirt, a gray jacket and denims.

Another video that rounded the fan pages shows a heartbreaking moment between SRK and a fan. The caption said, “Our team member from USA @MSGREENJESSS could not catch his excitement to meet Raja Khan at the airport. Along with Shah Rukh Khan, actors Kiara Advani and Diljit Dosanjh are also set to make their Met Gala debut this year. The program is scheduled in the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York on 5 May.

The theme for this year’s Gala is “Sleeping Beauties: Recringing Fashion”, “Superfine: Talering Black Style” is inspired by Monica L. Miller’s book slaves: Black Dandism and The Style of Black Diasporic Identity.
