Sreeleela on doing Kisik: Rejected many, but this is not a regular song
Sreeleela recently shared her reasons for being a part of Pushpa 2: The Rule song, Kisik, during a media interaction. The song was released recently.
Sreeleela has created excitement by rendering an item song for the much-awaited film, Pushpa 2: The Rule. Recently during a press conference for his upcoming film Robinhood, he explained about his decision. Pushpa’s new song Kisik was released recently. It has received mixed response from the audience, with it being compared to Samantha’s iconic performance in Oo Antwa.
At the event, Sreeleela opened up about doing Kisik and said, “The song itself will justify my choice. It is not your typical item song. There is a strong narrative reason behind it, which will become evident when the film releases. Will go.”

Kissik, written by Devi Sri Prasad, is set to be a major highlight of the much-awaited sequel of Pushpa: The Rise. While the song is being talked about for its energy and choreography, Sreeleela has also addressed reports about her remuneration for the track. There is speculation that she was paid Rs 2 crore for the special number, which was in contrast to the Rs 5 crore Samantha Ruth Prabhu reportedly received for her Oo Antava performance in the first film. However, Sreeleela downplayed the issue of money, laughingly saying, “We have not even discussed the remuneration with the producers yet.”

The inclusion of Srileela in the song has already started conversations, and while some have compared Kisik to Samantha’s iconic Oo Antwa, the numbers speak for themselves. The song exceeded expectations and set new records, garnering 17.7 million views within 12 hours of its launch.
