Sophie Turner revealed she would love to return to star as Sansa in Game of Thrones on one condition; trace

Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner has made comments about a possible ninth season return, and it reveals why the show shouldn’t, or possibly can’t, return. Even though the finale of the HBO smash show Game of Thrones from five years ago is still very controversial, viewers still love the series as a whole.

Turner spoke on a possible return to the world of Game of Thrones in an interview with Variety to promote her upcoming series Joan. Asked if she would ever play Sansa again, the actor said, “Maybe.”

Turner outlined the terms of his return. “Maybe. I mean, if it weren’t for the same cast and crew, I wouldn’t have returned, and that would have just been Season 9.”

Turner said, “I don’t think we’re going to do a season 9, but, I mean, I love playing Sansa, and I often wonder what she would be doing now.” The Joan actress added, “Five years from now, where will she be? And what will she be doing? In the North, will she still be queen? Can she rule effectively? Will another terrible war like that Would have happened? I really hope to see it.”

Turner’s belief that Game of Thrones expansion will essentially be limited to just Season 9 highlights a significant challenge to the show’s success.

Despite the response and reaction to Game of Thrones Season 8, the production value was unparalleled on television, and it will be extremely difficult to bring back.

All cast members remained in various roles after the finale. Turner is one of them; He has appeared in several films including Joan, Do Revenge, X-Men: Dark Phoenix and The Staircase. Given that Sophie Turner played Sansa Stark for most of her life, it’s important to note that the character ends up in a positive place.
