Actress Sophie Turner has spoken out about her divorce from singer Joe Jonas, revealing that the split brought her life to a ‘pause’ while she was in the United States. In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar UK, the Game of Thrones actor discussed his marriage and divorce.

“I’m going through the legal process right now where I can’t really say much, but it was incredibly sad. “We had a beautiful relationship, and it was hard,” Turner told the publication during an interview.

He also said, “It felt like my life was on hold until I returned to England. I never feel like myself when I’m not with my friends and family in London. I was away for so long – six years – and this was when my friends were getting engaged, and when I got pregnant.’

Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas got married in May 2019 A second wedding took place in France in June of the same year, in Las Vegas. In September 2023, Sophie filed for divorce, leading to a custody battle over their children. The couple eventually agreed to shared custody and the divorce was finalized last monthon September. Sophie moved from the UK to the US during their marriage but returned to London after their separation.

Sophie Turner has been dating British aristocrat Peregrine Pearson since late last year. In the same interview, he expressed his happiness while talking about them. “It came very quickly. I just needed to go on a date to learn how to do it again. That was the first date and the last date, and it was great,” the actor quipped. “He’s so sweet. He’s funny, and he brings out the cheeky side of me, the fun side. “He gives me light back.”

The couple went public with their relationship earlier this month when Sophie shared a post for her 30th birthday on October 27.
