Sonu Sood should be awarded the Human Award for Covid-19 Relief Work
Actor Sonu Sood will receive the Human Award at Miss World 2025 Grand Finale. The award will recognize Sood for his contribution during the Covid-19 epidemic.
Actor Sonu will soon be awarded the Human Award at the 72nd Miss World Festival for his relief work during the Kovid -19 epidemic. The event is scheduled to be held on 31 May in Hitex Arena in Hyderabad.
Julia Morley, chairperson of Miss World Organization, said that Sonu’s efforts show the basic values of her motto, ‘Beauty with a Pair’. “We are honored to present Sonu Sood with this award for his extraordinary service to humanity,” Morley said. He said, “Sonu Sood’s work continues to inspire people around the world, and we are proud to celebrate his remarkable contribution on our platform.”
Apart from receiving the award, actor Miss World 2025 will also be among judges at the Grand Finale.
In a statement shared by Altare Media, Miss World’s official PR handle, Sonu Sood, thanked for the honor. He said, “Getting a human prize is deeper into it. I share this belief with every volunteer and life that we have touched through Sood Charity Foundation.”
During the lockdown, Sonu Sood helped thousands of people across India, provided transportation for trapped workers, provided medical support, and started free education and job training initiative. Through the Sood Charity Foundation, his work had a great impact on many lives.
Meanwhile, on the acting front, Sonu Sood’s last screen appearance was in ‘Fateh’. Apart from this, Jacqueli Fernandez starring, the action-thriller is currently streaming on Jio Hotstar.
