Sonam Bajwa joins Diljit Dosanj in Seema 2 to start shooting this month: Report: Report
Actor Sonam Bajwa allegedly joined the artists of Sunny Dool starrer ‘Border 2’. He is expected to start shooting for the film by the end of June and has been associated with Diljit Dosanj.

After a successful Bollywood debut with ‘Housefull 5’, Punjabi actor Sonam Bajwa has now scored his third Hindi film. He may just say yes to act unlike Diljit Dosanj in ‘Border 2’. The film is being made on a huge budget, and it also includes Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan and Ahaan Shetty in important roles.
A report in Pinkvilla It was suggested that a 35-year-old would play a ‘Head-Strong’ character, and Dosanj’s character with his dynamic film will be one of the main attractions of the film. He is expected to shoot his share by the end of June this year, while the shooting of the film began earlier this year. The report states that his character would have a strong emotional arc allegedly.
The sequel to the 1997 super-hit film ‘Border’, Sunny Deol will again see the prestigious role of Major Kuldeep Singh Chandpuri.
The report mentions, “Border 2” will be shot from June to mid -August, with a combination shoot of all key actors – Sunny, Varun, Diljit, Ahaan and Sonam, “. It further stated that the manufacturers are also expected to be connected with Varun to finalize another top female actor.
The shooting of the film is expected to be wrapped by August. ‘Border 2’ is likely to be released in theaters on 23 January 2026 as Big Republic Day release.
Meanwhile, Sonam Bajwa was recently seen in ‘Housefull 5’. The film was released on 6 June with two different versions in theaters- ‘Housefull 5A’ and ‘Housefull 5’, and despite receiving poor reviews from critics, is successfully running at the box office.

Bajwa is a prominent name in the Punjabi film industry. ‘Border 2’ is not going to have his first cooperation with Dosanz. He has worked with singer-turning-actor in films, such as ‘Super Singh’, ‘Honsla Rakh’, ‘Shada’ and ‘Sardarji 2’.
