Sonakshi Sinha’s Nikita Roy release postponed to escape from screen battle
An upcoming Bollywood film Nikita Roy starring Sonakshi Sinha was scheduled to release on 27 June. Due to the “Battle of Screen”, the release is now postponed.

The release of ‘Nikita Roy’, which Sonakshi Sinha has acted in the lead, has been postponed. Originally set to hit theaters on 27 June, the film will now be released on July 18, the producers announced in a statement on Thursday. The manufacturers cited the “Battle of Screen” as the reason for the decision.
The statement shared by Sinha on his Instagram handle, read, “Hi friends! We have found ourselves in a battle for many releases and screens. With the advice of our well -wishers in fraternity, distributors and exhibitions, we will collectively decide to push our release on 18 July, so that you can reach a comprehensive audience. You will be worth waiting on 18 July!

The decision was influenced by the crowded release slate on 27 June, including Brad Pitt’s much awaited ‘F1’, Kajol’s ‘Ma’ and Vishnu Manchu’s Telugu film ‘Kannappa’.
In an interview with Bharat Today, Sonakshi Sinha first expressed her excitement and pride with Kajol about sharing the release date of her film. He said, “You know, I am really excited because I love him very much as an actor. He is amazing, and I love to see him on the screen.”
Explaining how the box -office clashes have become regular in the industry, Sinha said, “This is not the first time two films have collided. Every week, a new film comes out – there are clashes, and it is just part of life and parcel.”
‘Nikita Roy’, a supernatural thriller, also in important roles, Arjun Rampal and Paresh Rawal. Directed by Sinha of Kush and written by Pawan Kirpalon, the film will be a hit in theaters in July.
