The leaked wedding card and confirmation by several celebrities have given fans the confidence that Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal are indeed getting married on June 23. A few days ago, the couple also celebrated the last days of their singlehood by attending a lavish party hosted by their friends.
While Sona’s Double XL co-star Huma Qureshi joined her bachelorette party, Zaheer had a gala time with his friend Saqib Saleem. A few minutes ago, Saleem shared a group photo on his Instagram in which the groom-to-be was pictured returning to Mumbai.

On his Instagram Stories, he posted a picture from the airport as he bid goodbye to Dubai. The Notebook actor also posted a picture of the group on his ‘gram with a red heart emoji and added a video in which they all posed for the camera. He captioned it, “This one was special.”

According to their wedding invitation that went viral, the couple is officially getting married on June 23 and is hosting a party at Shilpa Shetty’s restaurant in Mumbai. While they have confirmed that the ‘rumours were true’, the soon-to-be-married couple has requested guests to avoid the colour red and come dressed in formal and festive attire.
A Hindustan Times report also states that the couple will host a haldi ceremony on June 10 in the presence of just 50 people. For this intimate pre-wedding event, the bride-to-be has decided to ditch the yellow and pink and go for unconventional colours. Apparently, her Dabangg co-star Salman Khan and the entire cast of Heeramandi are expected to make an appearance at the red carpet reception.
