The couple was sitting together on a couch and the bride’s parents Shatrughan Sinha and Poonam Sinha were sitting in front of them. Sonakshi’s hand was in Zaheer’s hand and her parents held her hands.
Another photo, which is presumably from the same ritual, was shared by a friend of the couple. Zaheer also reposted it on his Instagram stories. The photo shows Sonakshi and Zaheer sitting on a couch with their hands folded. Their friend captioned the photo, “Cutest ritual ever!!!”

Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal got married at their home in Mumbai in the presence of their family and friends. Sonakshi wore a stunning cream saree for the special day, while Zaheer wore a white kurta. Soon after their registered wedding, the newlyweds made their wedding official on Instagram and shared beautiful pictures with their followers.
In the caption, she summed up their journey from dating to marriage, writing, “On this day, seven years ago (23.06.2017) we saw love in its purest form in each other’s eyes and decided to hold on to it. Today that love has guided us through all the challenges and victories… leading to this moment… where with the blessings of both our families and both our Gods… we are now husband and wife.”
