After a decade of the social network hit the first theaters, a sequel is officially in functions. Under the title social network Part II, the film Oscar-Vigner is written and directed by the 2010 screenwriter Aaron Sorkin. Unlike the first film, which focused on the establishment of Facebook, it would dive into the more controversial years of the follow -up forum.
According to The Hollywood reporter, the film will be based on Facebook files by The Wall Street Journal. The story will cover topics such as incorrect information on meta platforms, impact on adolescents and company participation in the events up to 6 January capital riot.
Jeremy Strong can turn Jessie Eisenberg to Mark Zuckerberg
Jesse Easenberg, who portrayed Facebook co-founder Mark Zuckerberg in the original social network film, is not returning to the sequel. According to Hollywood reporter, Eisenberg repeated the role. However, sources say this may be a “conversation strategy”.
Eisenburg is now 41 years old and will have to play a version of Zuckerberg at least a decade ago. This may be a reason behind his decision to walk away from social network 2. No official statement has been made by Eisenberg itself.
Step in role succession actor Jeremy can be stronger, although no casting has been confirmed. Strong is 46, which makes him larger than Easenburg. However, his performance in shows and films like The Trial of the Chicago 7 makes him a serious contender. Her experience in The Apprentice, a film about a young Donald Trump, could also act in her favor.
