“Slow poison”: Video of mango juice packaging goes viral

Have you ever wondered if there is any mango in these juices? Recently, a content creator on Instagram shared a shocking video of a juice processing plant. The clip shows a yellowish liquid being mixed with red and orange food colour, sugar syrup, and other chemicals in a churning machine. Then, the processed liquid is canned in plastic paper packet bottles. Finally, they are packed in large cartons and prepared for distribution to vendors with the help of several workers. As soon as the video was posted, netizens left several reactions in the comments section, expressing their disappointment at the entire manufacturing and packaging process.

One user commented, “I thank God for social media. I have stopped craving or drinking many things that sound delicious. All these delicious 200 percent fruit juices I no longer drink.
