This Diwali, ‘Amaran’ might face competition from Rajinikanth’s ‘Vettaiyaan’ or Ajith’s ‘Vidamuyarchy’ at the box office.
Directed by Rajkumar Periyasamy, ‘Amaran’ is the life story of late Major Mukund Varadarajan, who died in a military operation. Sivakarthikeyan has trained for his role as an army man and will be seen in two different looks in the film.
Sai Pallavi plays the lead female role, which marks her first collaboration with Sivakarthikeyan.
GV Prakash Kumar is composing the music, which is also his first collaboration with the lead actor. Sivakarthikeyan is currently shooting for ‘SK 23’ with director AR Murugadoss in Tuticorin.
