The film ‘Singham Again’ directed by Rohit Shetty is one of the most awaited films to be released this year. The film stars Ajay Devgan in the lead role, reprising the role of DCP Bajirao Singham. The third installment of the Singham franchise is scheduled to release on Diwali. If the latest report is to be believed, the trailer of Ajay and Rohit’s film will soon be released on the internet. According to a report in Bollywood Hungama, the trailer of Singham Again will release on October 3, 2024. A source confirmed the date to the portal while discussing the upcoming action.
“Director Rohit Shetty is aware of the huge expectations fans have from the much-talked-about Police universe. He took his time in cutting an exciting trailer, which gives an idea about the plot of the film and also gives ample screen time to the huge star cast. Film,” the source was quoted as saying.
The source said that the Singham Again team is confident that the promotion will reach “another level” after the release of the trailer. Although no details have been given about the trailer launch, the source shared that a “clear picture” will emerge in a few days.
Apart from Ajay Devgan, Singham Again stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Arjun Kapoor, Tiger Shroff and Jackie Shroff. This is the fifth film of Rohit Shetty’s police universe and the sequel to the film Singham Returns.
Kareena will play the role of Bajirao’s wife Avni Kamat in the film. Akshay has been cast as ACP Veer Suryavanshi and Ranveer will play the role of ACP Sangram Bhalerao aka Simmba. Deepika has been cast in the role of SP Shakti Shetty. Tiger’s character name is ACP Satya.
The upcoming action film will also star actors like Ashutosh Rana, Shweta Tiwari, Dayanand Shetty and Siddharth Jadhav in lead roles. It is co-produced by Ajay Devgan’s FFilms, Reliance Entertainment and Rohit Shetty Pictures.
While Singham Returns was released in 2014, Singham hit the screens in 2011. Kajal Aggarwal, who played the lead role in the original film, was replaced by Kareena Kapoor Khan in the 2014 film.
