The funeral of former One Direction star Liam Payne, who died after falling from a Buenos Aires balcony last month, is expected to take place on Wednesday (November 20), British media reported.

Payne, who rose to global fame with boy band One Direction, has died at the age of 31, prompting fans around the world to pay tribute to him and raising questions about how he fell. Three people have been charged in connection with his death.

Payne’s body was released to his father earlier this month and flown back to his native England.

Several newspapers, including the Daily Mail and Daily Mirror, said that all four of Payne’s former One Direction bandmates, including Harry Styles, would attend the funeral to pay their respects.

According to media reports, the funeral will be a private ceremony for family and close friends.
