Singer Halsey recently spoke about her miscarriage, which she suffered when she was only 20 years old. The incident happened in the middle of one of her concerts.
Speaking on the SheMD podcast, Halsey said, “I was in a really tough position because it was early in my career, and there was a lot tied to the show. There was a corporate partner, there was a big media entity partner, but more importantly to me, there were thousands of kids who waited all day to come to the show and see me.”
Halsey revealed she had to put on an adult diaper to continue the song, which lasted for 45 minutes.
“I was sick all night. I remember sitting in the bathtub because I didn’t know what to do with all that blood. Forgive me for being so blunt. I remember thinking to myself, ‘I’m 20 years old. I should be having a baby.’ I didn’t want to be pregnant. I was so busy with my career. So, I had a lot of complicated emotions of relief, but also confusion, guilt, and grief,” Halsey said.
Halsey recently made headlines after she revealed she suffers from systemic lupus erythematosus and a rare T-cell lymphoproliferative disorder.
