The much awaited film by filmmaker Waitri Maran, starring Silambanson TR alias Simbu, is officially set to start shooting in mid -September. The title ‘STR 49’ was subject to speculation about the title, financial obstacles and external pressure in relation to the potential cold storage due to external pressure. The film is associated with the universe of his prestigious film ‘Vada Chennai’, directed by Vetri Maran, starring Dhanush, Samuthikani, Amier and Aishwarya Rajesh. This connection stimulates fans and promises the continuity of the pre -discovered gritty cinematic world.

By adding to the conspiracy, director Nelson will play a cameo in the film. Known for directing the ‘doctor’ and ‘jailer’, he brings additional star power to the project, along with a cameo confirmed by actors Kavin and Manikandan.
