The much awaited film by filmmaker Waitri Maran, starring Silambanson TR alias Simbu, is officially set to start shooting in mid -September. The title ‘STR 49’ was subject to speculation about the title, financial obstacles and external pressure in relation to the potential cold storage due to external pressure. However, these rumors have been removed by a source close to production. India has especially learned today that the film’s production is on track.

The film is associated with the universe of his prestigious film ‘Vada Chennai’, directed by Vetri Maran, starring Dhanush, Samuthikani, Amier and Aishwarya Rajesh. This connection stimulates fans and promises the continuity of the pre -discovered gritty cinematic world.
