Actor Siddharth Nigam shared his early mistrust and apprehensions when auditioned for Dho 3. He felt that the casting call was fake and he feared that he would be smuggled.
Actor Siddharth Nigam, who is a part of ‘Hai Junoon’, recently opened up about the time when he was called to audition for ‘Dhum 3’. Actor who played Aamir Khan’s small version in ‘Dhum 3’He said that he earlier thought that the audition call was a scam and it would be ‘sold’.
Remember how unknown to Bollywood at that time, Nigam told India time, “When Yash Raj Films called me, Shanu Maam called me, we were scared. We had no one in Mumbai where they were calling us. Where we would go? I really wondered if it is a fake call. I am a crime patrol and Savadan India’s audience. Bula ke bech diya to dikkat ho jayegi (What if they call us Mumbai and sell me). Eventually, his brother discovered Yash Raj Films and Shanu Sharma to understand the importance of the opportunity. “And they hugged me with open arms,” Siddharth said, referring to both YRF and the film fraternity.
He also talked about his childhood in prayer and shared, “When I was in prayer, I had no information about this industry. My mother drove a small parlor and I was a gymnast. I never say that I struggled a lot because God gifted me these opportunities very quickly.”
Nigam was recently seen in ‘Hai Junoon’, which revolves around a dance group that challenges the dominance of the prestigious singing songs of his college. He plays the role of Vikram, who is an aspiring singer, which aims to be included in the nomadic songs. In the series, he finds a patron in Gagan Ahuja played by Neil Nitin Mukesh. The series is currently streaming on Jiohotstar.
