After Pathan, Shahrukh Khan and Siddharth Anand are all set to collaborate for their next project King. According to reports, after the unprecedented success of ‘Pathan’, Siddharth has once again directed Shahrukh Khan in place of Sujoy Ghosh.,

The preparation of this action-packed entertainer has been going on for the last six months, as Siddharth Anand and his team have done multiple rounds of recce around the world and designed path-breaking action sequences with internationally renowned stunt directors. King is all set to start shooting in March 2025.

King stars Shah Rukh Khan in the lead role, Suhana Khan plays a pivotal role in the story and Abhishek Bachchan steps in as the antagonist. Produced by Red Chillies Entertainment in association with Marflix, the film promises an exciting story. “Each character has a well-defined arc and moments to shine,” the source revealed. The screenplay is written by Sujoy Ghosh, Siddharth Anand, Suresh Nair and Sagar Pandya, while Abbas Tyrewala has composed the dialogues.

The film is set to showcase some of the most spectacular action sequences ever seen in Indian cinema, aiming to rival global standards. The source said, “This is the most explosive action ever written for a Hindi film.”

Shah Rukh Khan and Siddharth Anand plan to film high-octane action sequences at several exotic and undiscovered locations across the world, recce of many of these sites has already been completed.

The makers have finalized Shah Rukh Khan, Abhishek Bachchan and Suhana for the lead roles in the film, while discussions are on to cast a leading female actor opposite the superstar. “Talks are on with the A-list actress and an official announcement will be made soon,” the source said.

The film will be shot across the world including European countries and is set to go on floors from March 2025.
