The actor said, “When I came to Mumbai, even my Hindi was broken for the first five-six years. I used to speak in Bhojpuri.” The theory considered how language can quietly affect self-confidence – especially for people who move to big cities, taking with them regional identities.

Siddhant shared about learning broken Hindi, slowly learning English and even being conscious of the nuances of pronunciation like frequently spoken words like “sa” and “sha” – a challenge that many Indians from different regions face, but they rarely talk about openly.

He said, “It is not about where you come from – UP, Bihar, Rajasthan, Gujarat, North-East or even Nepal. There is always a language barrier. And when you are conscious about something like this, it affects your confidence somewhere.”
