He shared that filming the feature felt no different from working on three seasons of the web series. Shweta said that the acting process remained largely unchanged, “It was not fast-paced. In fact, the filming took as much time as it should have. So in terms of acting or performance, it was no different.”
However, what really felt different was revisiting the world of the first season after nearly nine years. Recalling how she was initially confused by the return to the original dynamics with characters like Sweety, Bablu and Guddu, the actor said, “I have spent many years living with a sense of revenge and frustration. Sweety is no more and Bablu is dead; all her dreams taken away. And now suddenly, Sweety is standing in front of you, and Bablu is here. Guddu is back to the state he was in… and not that in the last season. How Golu was feeling about that.”
The actor elaborated on how it was not easy to return to the younger, more innocent version of Golu: “The first day, I can’t tell you how confusing it was. I didn’t understand. I was confused because I didn’t know… In season one, Golu was a different girl. But then everything slowly fell into place.”
Describing herself as a fan of the franchise, Shweta said that she is now eagerly waiting to experience it.
