Shivaji Satam aka ACP Preduman had a ‘no clue’ about his track in CID
Shivaji Satam, who played ACP Pradyuman on CID, talked about the death of his character in the show stating that he was not informed about the end of his track and is currently on a break.

Actor Shivaji Satam, known for his role as ACP Pradyuman in the popular TV show CID, has responded to reports about his character’s death. In a conversation with the Bombay Times, Satam clarified that he was unaware of any decision to end his character’s track. He mentioned that he had taken a temporary break and was not informed if his role was over.
INDIA Today Digital had previously learned that his track was ending.
Satam shared, “I have no clue about this. I have taken a break for some time, and the manufacturers know what is next in the show. I have learned to take everything in my strid, and if my track is over, I am fine with it. However, I am not told whether my track is over or not! I am not shooting for the show.”
He also shared his plan further. “I am planning to go on leave in May, because my son who lives abroad is coming to India. I have fun playing ACP for 22 years In earlier weather. This has been a great journey. The show has given me a lot. Till now I am just taking a break and going to enjoy my life. I have worked hard, and everyone is entitled to a break. Whether or not my track will be revived, something that the manufacturers know well, “he said.
The recent episode of CID caught ACP Pradyuman in an explosion chasing a criminal, which caused speculation about the fate of the character. Although his death was not clearly shown, a post by Sony TV on social media confirmed the character’s death, marking the end of an era for a long -running show.
