Shiva condemns online misuse against Rajkumar Ramya, expresses support
Actor Shiv Rajkumar and his wife, Geeta condemned online harassment against actor-royalty Ramya. He emphasized that social media should be used for someone’s development and not to hurt abuses.

Kannada superstar Shiv Rajkumar and his wife, Geeta have condemned online harassment against actor-royalty Ramya. Recently, he filed a complaint with the Bengaluru commissioner, alleging that individuals were accused of misusing photographs and issuing rape and death. Actor was at the end of an actor Darshan’s followers at the end of derogatory comments.
The ‘Bhairati Rangal’ actor has publicly supported Ramya, in which the language used against her is condemned. In a post written in Kannada, he and his wife posted, “The words used against Ramya are condemnable. It is not right to speak about any woman in this way; we should not tolerate it,” expressing solidarity with her stand against derogatory comments.
He further said, “Women should be honored as mothers, sisters, daughters, wives – and above, as individuals.”
With social media being a malignant platform, Shivraj Kumar highlighted his ability for creative use rather than spreading hatred and enmity. He reiterated, “Social media is a very powerful tool. It should be used for someone’s development, not to provoke abuses or to spread hatred and jealousy. Your stance is right, Ramya. We will always stand with you.”
In a gesture of gratitude, Ramya responded to Shivraj Kumar’s support, “Thank you Shivanna! I mean a lot!” Accepting the support of him and his wife.
The dispute has attracted the attention of the Karnataka State Women’s Commission, which has urged the police to take action against such accounts. Talking to India today, Ramya said, “It is pathetic, and it is also very sad because abusing women has become ideal, and they are getting away with it.”
