Sanjay Kapoor and Maheep Kapoor’s daughter Shanaya Kapoor was earlier supposed to be launched with Karan Johar’s film Bedhadak which is now shelved. Last year, it was confirmed that Shanaya will be making her acting debut with Mohanlal’s pan-India film Vrishabha. The budding actress often makes headlines on various media portals, mainly for her friendship or her gym sessions with besties Ananya Panday and Suhana Khan. Shanaya recently fed a stray dog on the streets and it touched all our hearts.
In a new video on Instagram, Shanaya Kapoor meets a stray dog and opens its tiffin box. The star kid then bends down to feed the dog some food while her furry friend watches her. The dog then eats the food from a bowl. Shanaya puts the box back in her bag and walks away. This kind gesture will surely win your heart.
Looking at her outfit, it looks like she has had a gym session. Shanaya wore a pink bralette and shorts and paired it with a white jacket. She tied her hair in a ponytail.

In an earlier interview with The Indian Express, Shanaya’s father, actor Sanjay Kapoor, was asked if she has learnt any lessons from her turbulent career in the film industry. Calling her “wise”, Sanjay shared that his daughter Shanaya has seen how he “fought” and understood that one should not lose hope during their struggling phase.
The Murder Mubarak actor expressed that Shanaya is working very hard for her Bollywood launch. The budding actress trained during the COVID-19 pandemic without him asking her to. The senior actor said that he will continue to support his daughter Shanaya to see if her approach and direction is right.
In 2023, Pinkvilla learned that Karan Johar has decided to make his Student of the Year franchise into a web series and is launching Shanaya in Student of the Year 3. Meanwhile, Shanaya completed the first schedule of Mohanlal’s epic action entertainer, Vrishbha in August last year. Before bagging her debut role, Shanaya worked as an assistant director on her cousin, actress Janhvi Kapoor’s 2020 film, Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl.
