While Ahaan Pandey and Aetit are enjoying all the ordinance and love from fans for Post ‘Siara’, the bad boys of the film, Shaan Grover, who play the role of Mahesh, are equally in the limelight for various reasons. While on the one hand, he is trolled to play the role of a wicked person leaving his fiance on the altar, many have also appreciated him for his strong performance.

Speaking to India, especially today, Shan opened up about the fans’ response to his character, especially ‘Mahesh Dale’ memes round.

Grover, who was passing through a Lulla’s stage in his career, talked about how he was waiting for months for the release of the film. Saying that he was not getting much work, he was hoping that life would change after the film.

In detail on emotions and ‘Mahesh Dale’ Mems, Shaan said, “I will be honest. I was a bit upset and shocked in the beginning. I was afraid that I would be stereotype as a villain. This is my first film and I have a little popularity for the first time. So I did not want to go as The Bad Boy, which could not hinder my future projects.

“However, it is also fun that men are hating me, asking why I left Wani in the film. They are losing me as he was his sister. I think fans are sufficient to understand that all this is about marketing and publicity.

While discussing about how he attained the project, the actor said that YRF casting director Shano Sharma watched some of his videos on social media and reached him. “I always thank me for spotting. Imagine someone who found Ranveer Singh, Ahaan Pandey, and I saw. Since 2015, I have been in awe about him. She wanted to launch me and I asked me to stick for only one year. I used to spend days for other projects.
