Talking about performing the action sequences, he said, “Action is tough, you have to practise to learn it and there are doubles to do some of the dangerous stunts. I have some great people. But if you have to sell it truthfully, then 80 per cent of it you have to do it yourself. Otherwise, it won’t look right.”

He then added, “The next film I’m working on, ‘King’, I have to start working on it. I have to lose some weight, stretch a little, so that my back doesn’t hurt while doing action. It’s painful. The worst thing is to see me on the set after action, because I look really good in the film, but I’m all tied up, and suddenly you look at people and send flying kisses.”

Shah Rukh accepted the award in front of around 8,000 people and even joked about the difficulty in pronouncing the name of the award. “Thank you to all of you who welcomed me with such big arms – even bigger than the arms that I see on screen. It is a very beautiful, very cultural, very artistic and extremely hot city of Locarno. So many people have gathered in a small square and it is so hot. It is just like being home in India,” he said.

It is rumoured that Abhishek Bachchan has been roped in to play the villain in the film. Amitabh Bachchan has almost confirmed his inclusion in the film. Also, ‘King’ will see the father-daughter duo, Shah Rukh and Suhana Khan sharing the screen for the first time.

There is no official announcement about the cast and crew of ‘King’ yet.
