Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has expressed his concern and support for the people of Punjab as there is a disastrous battle of floods in the state. The actor shared a hearty note on social media, which offers prayers and strength to the affected people.

Floods in Punjab caused widespread damage, displacing the families and the communities fought to recover. Relief operations are going on, in which many citizens across the country are being urged to increase support through charity and assistance.

Meanwhile, Punjabi stars have recently moved forward to support flood affected people in Punjab, who have claimed at least 29 people in 12 districts. Those under whom Diljit Dosanj, Ammi Virk and Sonam Bajwa are helping relief work and long -term reconstruction efforts.

Diljit Dosanjh has tied up with NGOs and local authorities to adopt ten villages in Gurdaspur and Amritsar. His team is working on the ground to supply food, drinking water and medical aid to the affected families. The singer-actor shared the news of the initiative through his Instagram stories, urging people to be strong in these difficult times.

Other Punjabi stars including Gippy Grewal, Himanshi Khurana and Karan Aujla have also joined hands in supporting flood relief efforts.
