Shah Rukh Khan reacts to Allu Arjun’s Raaka first look, calls it ‘amazing’ as Atlee’s ambitious project garners initial buzz.
Shahrukh Khan has expressed his excitement about the upcoming film RakaDirected by Atlee and starring Allu Arjun. The first look poster and title of the film were unveiled on Arjun’s birthday, Wednesday, 8 April. Shahrukh, who previously collaborated with Atlee in the action film Jawan, shared his excitement on his X account.
Sharing the poster of RakaShah Rukh wrote, “Happy Birthday @alluarjun, the poster is interesting and amazing just like you. Can’t wait to see what you guys have put together. The experience will be in the words of Atlee – Mass Mass Mass!! #Raaka looks so exciting, all the best!!”

In the poster, Arjun is seen looking straight at the camera and covering his face with his paws. He has kohl-lined eyes, a receding hairline and a thick, brown mustache and beard. Many online viewers have noticed the similarity of Karthi’s look in Kaashmora.
Atlee shared his thoughts about the film on his X account Raka More than just a movie. He said, “Raaka is not just a film, it is a part of me that I have carried for years. For 18 years I held on to one idea, never letting it fade away.” He added, “It tested me, shaped me, and stuck with me through everything. And honestly, this is just the beginning.”
Raka Directed by Atlee and produced by Sun Pictures. The film also stars Deepika Padukone in the lead role and is expected to release in 2027.
Collaboration between Shahrukh Khan and Atlee continues young was commercially successful and earned Shahrukh his first National Award for Best Actor. In a 2023 interview Hindustan TimesReflecting on working with Shah Rukh, Atlee said, “I have learned a lot from Khan sir, to be patient, to do everything right, to take the film to the next level. Shah Rukh sir has taught me to raise the bar. My next film will have even better energy and we will make something even bigger than Jaawaan.”
