Shahid Kapoor and Meera Rajput’s daughter, Meesha Kapoor celebrated her ninth birthday on 26 August. To mark the occasion, Meera shared a picture of her on Instagram and wrote a heartfelt note. This is the first time in a long time when she shared pictures of her children on social media.

In the photo, Misha is sitting on a wooden railing and smiles for the camera. Wearing a dark blue tea and jeans, he all grew up. With the picture, Meera wrote, “Happy 9th birthday For our sunshine. My baby girl is a big girl! Fly my darling (SIC). ,

Shahid and Meera get married in a private ceremony In Gurgaon on 7 July 2015. The couple welcomed Misha in August 2016 and later in September 2018, a son, Zain had a son.

On the work front, Shahid was last seen in ‘Dev’, which was weak at the box office. He is currently busy shooting for his upcoming film Arjun Ustara, directed by Vishal Bhardwaj and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. The film also stars Triptai Dimri, Nana Patekar and Randip Hooda in the lead roles with Vikrant Massey in a special presence. It is scheduled for release of December 2025.
