On November 21, Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput Kapoor were in Mumbai. The paparazzi spotted them setting major couple goals in their traditional attires. To attend Mira’s cousin’s pre-wedding function, the couple decided to wear light but designer clothes. The Teri Baton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya actor stunned in a simple beige kurta with golden embroidery, which she teamed with white churidar pants.
As for his wife Mira, she gave an interesting twist to her traditional attire and stunned in a bright beige gown with lots of colorful flowers printed on it. She matched her outfit with her heels, tied her hair in a ponytail, and sported minimal and eye-catching makeup.

Shahid and Mira have always stood up for each other and shown faith in their partner’s talent even when the world didn’t believe in them. In an exclusive conversation with Pinkvilla, the actor had once revealed why he initially did not want to do the film Kabir Singh. “My first response was ‘No way I’m doing this movie.’ Because this guy is new and he has done a great job,” said the actor.
Arguing further, he said, “So I felt like this guy has done his first film. I have worked in many films. The way he has played this character, I don’t know whether I will be able to do it or not because people have already seen me in many different characters. And I ended all my knowledge by saying ‘This is my reason, Meera.’ I should not do this film. (I shouldn’t do this film)”
But when he refused to do the film, his wife Meera convinced him to do the film. Recalling her reaction, Shahid revealed, “She just kept looking at me and after 5 minutes she said, ‘Just shut up and do it. This is the perfect film for you. I was like ‘really’, she was like ‘yes’. People like to see you in love stories, people like to see you in complicated characters. It has both! Just do it!’ His idea was very simple and I had made it too complicated for myself and I think it was good that I did Kabir Singh.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Shahid Kapoor will next be seen in Deva with Pooja Hegde. This action-thriller is expected to release in theaters on February 14, 2025.
