Anirudh Ravichander is becoming a chartbuster this year with his explosive songs in Devara: Part 1 and Vettaiyaan. As the composer is composing the soundtrack and score for Ajith Kumar’s Vidamuyarchi, the film’s first single Savadhika is releasing on December 27, 2024 at 1 pm.
As the song will be released, the musician has shared the first two lines of the single through an official X (formerly Twitter) post. The tweet read, “Sawadeka sawadeka.. trip-ah tripping ka.. trip-ah tripping ka.. sawadeka sawadeka.. yakka kapunka.. yakka kapunka.”

The first single from the film starring Ajith Kumar and Trisha Krishnan is sung by Anthony Dasan with lyrics written by indie artist and popular musician Arivu. Since the upcoming film is Anirudh’s third collaboration with Ajith after films like Vedalam and Vivegam, the expectations for it are definitely on a different level.
The first single was officially announced on December 25, 2024, with the makers unveiling a special poster featuring both the artists in a romantic set-up.

Anirudh Ravichander definitely has his hands full with many interesting projects in 2025. According to an early interview with the composer, it was said that he will be composing music for Shah Rukh Khan’s next film, reuniting with the superstar after Jawan in 2023.
Apart from this, the composer also has films like Magic and Vijay Deverakonda starrer VD12 in Telugu. Apart from this, Anirudh will be hitting the theaters with his music in films like Love Insurance Company (LIK), Sivakarthikeyan’s SK23, superstar Rajinikanth starrer Coolie and Thalapathy Vijay’s reportedly last film Thalapathy69.
Talking about Ajith Kumar’s work front, the actor is set to appear in Vidamuyaarchi after the release of his last film Thunivu in 2023. The upcoming film directed by Magizh Thirumeni has recently completed its shooting and is aiming to hit the big screens for Pongal 2025.
The teaser of the film suggests that it is a slick action thriller starring Trisha Krishnan in the lead role. Apart from this, the film also stars actors Arjun Sarja and Regina Cassandra in lead roles.
Apart from this, Ajith Kumar is also set to hit the big screen with his film Good Bad Ugly (GBU) directed by Adhik Ravichandran.
