The sons of two new movie sequels, Sardar 2 and Dhadak 2 were released in theaters later this week. Both films struggled to discuss food between the audience, thus, collecting a digit figures on day 1. Here the opening day box office is compared to the son of Sardar 2 and Dhadak 2.
Sarda 2’s son is better opening than 2 but …
Ajay Devgan and Mrinal Thakur starrer have taken a lead on Dhadak 2 in their early days. While the comedy sequel collected a net of Rs 6.50 crore to Rs 7 crore on a day 1, later in the initial day it increased to Rs 3.50 to Rs 4 crore.
Although Sarda 2’s son had a better inauguration, no one can ignore the fact that Dhyad 2 opted for a controlled release strategy. Due to which Siddhant Chaturvedi and Tripipti Dimri starrer romantic drama had about half the screen, which was released by the son of Sardar 2.
While the opening of less than Rs 15 crore is a low beginning for a sequel, also starring A-listers, 1 collection on the day of Dhadak 2 is very decent as both are relatively fresh actors who do not have much fan-based, so far. If the Dhadak 2 becomes a witness to a great development and not surprised the last run of Sardar 2’s son, not surprised, it is definitely the ability.
