Samsung US deals: Galaxy Z Flip6 up to 63% off today, Galaxy S24 Ultra up $300

Did you watch Apple’s big event yesterday? There were some great upgrades, but there were also some disappointments – is Apple really selling $800 and $900 phones with 60Hz displays? Yes, yes it is. You can buy a foldable phone for less or the best Android camera for the same money.

Discover Samsung is a quarterly sales event and its fall edition is this week. It’s a mix of daily and week-long deals. For some offers, you have time to think, for others, you have until midnight.

Today’s Daily Deal is the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6. The base 256GB model is priced at $1,100, the 512GB model is priced at $1,220 (these are MSRPs). If you don’t have anything to trade-in, Samsung is offering a $150 instant discount.

But if you go the trade-in route, things get interesting. You don’t really need much, almost any smartphone will turn into a $200 credit, so now’s the time to rummage through your drawers. Additionally, you can get 20% off Samsung Care+ with theft and damage protection. The monthly plan (cancel anytime) is $14.40 per month (down from $18/month previously), the 2-year subscription is $280 (down from $350 previously).

Alternatively, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 at a discount of $450 with a trade-in. When trading-in, any smartphone should be worth $300. If you have something older like the Z Fold2, it costs $600. Note that $450 is only given if you choose the “no trade-in” option.

Not everyone likes foldables, so take a look at the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra. It has a 6.8-inch display that’s on par with the iPhone 16 Pro Max and has a better zoom camera with a 111mm lens and 50MP sensor (vs. 120mm 12MP). It also has a mid-range zoom camera (10MP 67mm). The no trade-in discount is $300, but you can get up to $750 in credit if you send in an old device.

The Samsung Galaxy S24+ is an alternative to the iPhone 16 Plus. It has a 6.7″ display, but it’s a much sharper 120Hz LTPO panel, not the older 60Hz panel you get from Apple. The MSRP is $1,000, but a $200 no trade-in discount brings it down to below the price of the 16 Plus (and that’s for 256GB of storage, not 128GB).

You can pair your new Samsung phone with the new smartwatch. In our testing, the Galaxy Watch Ultra lasted three days without AOD. The watch has a 1.5-inch display and is suitable for diving with a 10ATM rating. It also has ECG and blood pressure monitoring.

The Apple Watch Series 10 is the thinnest watch in the series yet, coming in at 9.7mm, which makes it a major achievement. And yet the Samsung Galaxy Watch7 is already 9.7mm thick. You can buy a Bluetooth/Wi-Fi only watch or an LTE model (+$50).

You can also buy new TWS headphones during this time. The Samsung Galaxy Buds3 are $20 off, and you can get up to $100 in credit when you exchange your old Buds. And you’ll also get a free clip case if you want extra protection.

The more advanced Samsung Galaxy Buds3 Pro aren’t directly discounted, but they do have an offer of up to $100 in trade-in credit. They also come with a free clip case (which normally costs $30).
