The teaser specifically highlights improved zoom capabilities and low-light performance. One clip shows a text “Closer” changing to “Closer”, hinting that at least one phone in the S26 series may have three cameras. The clip then zooms in at 5x to 10x on the setting of a dog inside a car.

Another teaser shows a nightclub video of a female DJ, highlighting the video quality of the upcoming phone in low-light settings. Then there’s another teaser, which hints at improved video quality in low light. It depicts a woman dancing while holding fireworks, with the caption, “It looks dark. It shows bright movie.”

Galaxy S26 series camera specs

The S26 series is expected to have three phones, which will include the S26 Ultra. This will be the most advanced and most expensive phone of the group. The Galaxy S26 Ultra is rumored to sport a 200-megapixel primary rear camera, a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with 5x zoom, and a 10-megapixel telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom.

The Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26+, on the other hand, may offer a more regular 12-megapixel telephoto camera, or keep the same 10-megapixel telephoto unit from the Galaxy S25 series.

On the chipset front, the Galaxy S26 Ultra may use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for some regions, while other markets may get Samsung’s Exynos 2600 SoC. It may feature a 6.9-inch QHD+ AMOLED display with a rumored privacy feature that will make it difficult for viewers to peek around the user’s shoulder and view content on the phone.

The battery on the S26 Ultra may also be 5000mAh, but may support faster 60W wired charging.

The Galaxy S26 is likely to use the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 or Exynos 2600 for its chipset, depending on the region where it hits the market. It is expected to feature a 6.3-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. There are rumors that its battery capacity may increase from 4000mAh to 4300mAh compared to the S25.

Meanwhile, the Galaxy S26+ is likely to come with a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is expected to retain the same 4900mAh battery that we see in its predecessor.
